Bucket List

I’ve never really had a bucket list.

When I read bucket lists online I see people list lots of travel destinations, and I’ve already been so lucky in that department!

BUT, one thing that I’ve always wanted to see was Nubble Light in York Beach, Maine lit up for Christmas!!

This year I was off for two weeks at Christmas and New Years, but there didn’t seem to be enough time to drive up there.

The Nubble Light website said that the Christmas lights would be on only until January 4th.

On Thursday when my Mom and I drove up to be closer for my Uncle’s funeral we visited the lighthouse around 4:30pm.  I LOVED that the Christmas wreaths were still up!

Later after relaxing a bit we were driving to dinner.  I looked across the ocean and couldn’t help myself!  I screamed!  My Mom thought there was something in the road or something wrong! (sorry Mom!)

Nothing was wrong.  Something was very right!  The Nubble Lighthouse was still lit up for Christmas!

So, of course after dinner around 8pm in 2o degree weather we went back up to the lighthouse so I could take some photos!!!  : )
