Today was a beautiful sunny winter day.
Around noon the school closings started to scroll across the news websites.
All the local news tops stories start with the winter blizzard.
Went to the gas station to fill my gas tank. Just in case we lose power and I can’t get gas. Not that I’ll be driving anywhere after coming home from work tomorrow with an expected two feet of snow on the way!
Facebook updates have been showing school closings and grocery store updates of no bread or milk left!
Ready here! Gas for the snowblower, full tank of heating oil, flashlights at the ready.
sounds like us during the recent flood… food stocks and car tanks filled. all good as long as the power stays on.
