New Bag!

I’ll be the first to admit I have a problem when it comes to bags!

I LOVE them!!

There used to be a girl at work ten years back that handmade cute and colorful bags that tied closed with ribbons.  Some have bamboo handles, some have wooden handles and some were fabric that matched the bags themselves.  I have about eight different styles.  I rotate so much that I still have them and they are in great shape.  When she left the company and moved to the west coast I still ordered one from her and had it shipped!  That tells you how crazy I am about bags. LOL!

Vera Bradley, Coach, Kate Spade, Burberry, Lulu Guinness, Gucci, Longchamp I love them all !

1992 lv speedy

Back in 1992 (twenty years ago!) I got my Louis Vuitton Speedy bag.  I knew it was trendy then, but I didn’t care.  The brothers called her my bowling bag!  The bag is still in style and being sold today and once in awhile I take her out of the closet.  You can tell she’s old because of how the handles have aged, but I still love her!

This year starting back in April I started noticing the Neverfull MM Damier Ebene.  I saw it at the LV store in Aruba.  Then noticed it at the hotel, the pool and the airport!  It was taunting me.

Maybe this sounds kind’ve morbid, but I thought if I made it through surgery I was getting that bag!!  But, of course I move in slow motion so I didn’t get it afterwards and then Christmas was coming!

I went with Santa Rob to the Natick Mall to pick her out!

I hope she’s around for twenty years like my first bag!

Wait!  I’m not just a trendy bag lover.  The tote in this picture from Kauai in 2006 is ten years old.  I got it in 2002 before the cruise from hell and it’s been everywhere with me since then!!  I think my Mom got it for me from Kmart!
